French 101 (Beginner 1) Fridays

10-Week Beginner 1 French Course (Online Class)

In this 10-week session, students will learn how to introduce themselves, ask and answer simple questions, talk about their nationality and the languages they speak, and exchange personal information such as phone number, address, and email. They will also learn how to introduce someone else and describe their likes and preferences. The course will explore the use of “tu” and “vous” (formal vs. informal speech) in everyday conversation.

Grammar topics include:

• Present tense of the verbs avoir and être

• Common -er verbs (e.g., parler, aimer, habiter)

• Possessive adjectives

• Interrogative adjectives

• And more foundational grammar to support confident speaking!

This course blends structured instruction with interactive speaking practice to help learners build a solid foundation in French.
