French 104 (Last of A1 – Beginner Level) Thursdays

French 104 In-Person Class at our Roswell location on Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

In this 10-week French 104 (Last of A1 – Beginner Level) course, students will refresh and solidify their A1 knowledge before moving on to the A2 (Pre-Intermediate) level. This course is perfect for learners who want to strengthen their foundation and gain confidence in everyday French communication.

We will cover Units 7 and 8, focusing on topics such as expressing quantity and frequency, describing rooms, furniture, and objects, talking about health and symptoms, giving recommendations, explaining recipes, and sharing personal events. Students will also practice celebrating events, giving congratulations and wishes, and handling invitations—all in context to prepare for more complex interactions.

Key grammar and structures include partitive articles / pas de, quantity expressions, question structures, adjective agreement and placement, structures for expressing sensations and pain, the imperative (including pronominal verbs, avoir, être), prepositions for naming dishes, the present tense of mettre, direct and indirect object pronouns, passé composé and imparfait, and the present continuous.

Through interactive exercises, students will practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing, while building the confidence and accuracy needed to succeed at the Pre-Intermediate level.
