In this 10-week Spanish 201 (Pre-Intermediate 1) course, covering Units 1–3, you will learn how to talk about habits, discuss challenges and emotions, give recommendations, describe relationships, and share experiences from the past. You will also learn how to write a biography and describe people physically and personally.
Practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing through engaging, communicative activities designed to help you use Spanish more confidently in real-life situations.
Key grammar and vocabulary include regular and irregular present-tense verbs, reflexive verbs, costar and sentirse, desde and desde hace, the pretérito indefinido, time expressions for talking about the past, demonstratives (este, ese, aquel), and expressions for describing relationships. Vocabulary topics include emotions and feelings, language-learning activities, biographies, achievements, physical descriptions, family and romantic relationships, and personality traits.
Classes: Wednesdays, 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM (In-Person at our Roswell Location), 20 hours total.
