Spanish 301 Pre-Intermediate 1 (Thursdays)

In-Person class on Thursdays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM

In this 10-week Spanish 301 (Intermediate 1) course, you will cover Units 1–3, strengthening your ability to communicate more fluently and naturally in a variety of real-life situations. You will learn how to express rules and obligations, give advice, talk about habits, share past experiences, and discuss future plans and possibilities.

Through interactive activities, you will continue developing your listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills while gaining confidence in more complex conversations.

Key grammar and structures include soler + infinitive, impersonal expressions (se permite / se prohíbe), periphrasis (empezar a, volver a, dejar de, seguir + gerund), expressions of time (desde, desde hace), and the future tense to talk about predictions and hypotheses. You will also expand your vocabulary with topics such as social customs, workplace communication, life experiences, and technology and future trends.
