In this 10-week Spanish 104 (Beginner 4) course, covering Unit 9, you will learn how to talk about past experiences, describe people's skills and abilities, and discuss personal qualities and characteristics. You will also practice talking about different professions and identifying the qualities and abilities needed for different types of work through practical, everyday Spanish.
Practice listening, speaking, reading, and writing through engaging, communicative activities designed to help you express yourself more confidently in real-life situations.
Key grammar and vocabulary include the pretérito perfecto for talking about past experiences, saber + infinitive and poder + infinitive for expressing knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as quantifiers. Vocabulary topics include professions, personality adjectives, and skills and abilities. You will also work on the pronunciation of /p/, /t/, and /k/.
Note: A PDF version of the book is included with your registration and will be provided to all students. The physical book is not included in the class price. Students will receive a link after registration if they would like to purchase a printed copy.
