Planning a trip to a Spanish-speaking country? This Spanish for Travelers class is designed to help you feel more comfortable communicating in real travel situations.
This 15-hour conversation-focused class will teach you practical Spanish you can actually use during your trip. Rather than focusing heavily on grammar, the course emphasizes speaking, listening, useful vocabulary, and everyday conversations related to traveling.
Through guided conversations, role-plays, pair activities, and realistic travel scenarios, you will practice situations such as introducing yourself, checking into a hotel, ordering food at a restaurant, asking for directions, using transportation, shopping, asking questions, making requests, and handling common travel situations.
You will also have opportunities to practice responding to questions, understanding common phrases, and keeping simple conversations going with Spanish speakers. The goal is to help you travel with greater confidence and be able to use Spanish beyond memorized phrases.
Classes: Once a week, 15 hours total.
